You aren't going to die if you go past Chicago. There are like six pho places between Iowa and Chicago and a new pita/shawarma place that's opening right by Crawford I think. If you're brave enough to make it all the way to Ottawa there's a Church's Chicken which is basically heaven. It's not terrible over here, I promise!
