Anonymous asked: Since they closed the exchange, is there another place on campus to mail packages or do I actually have to go to a post office now?
All of the Exchange’s operations will be absorbed by other departments on campus (which makes it sound like UCR is some sort of symbiote), but in the meantime, you’ll have to use off-campus post offices.
There should be one in the University Village.
Edit: NEVERMIND you’ll have to find a post office elsewhere. Thanks, apsaraaaa!
the post office thing at the UV doesn’t exist anymore, it’ll be replaced by a Haagen Dazs!
have you ever sent out a mass email to the class if you missed lecture and you need notes? do people respond?
Do NOT do this. You might have one kind person reply to you, but 9 times out of 10, all you’ll do is incite the wrath of your fellow classmates for clogging up their inbox. People will not like you. They will remember your name. They will track you down. And they will say, “WHY DIDN’T YOU GO TO CLASS?”
But really, mass emails are annoying and not very effective. You should plan on getting the contact info of at least one classmate (reach out during discussion if you feel awkward in large groups of people). That way, if you absolutely have to miss a lecture, you can directly contact your classmate instead.
